We made a squishy rubberized egg with science!
First we put the raw egg in a jar, and then covered it with white vinegar. We left it for 24 hours, emptied the vinegar, and refilled it.
Then we left it for seven whole days, which is a level of patience a six year old rarely displays. But it was worth it!
Behold, the squishy egg! The shell totally dissolved. Neat, right? We squished it like this for days, until I was showing a friend it’s unpoppability, and it popped all over my hands. Hubris.
