It allows you to create, store, and maintain your life list and connect with others who have similar goals. You can also partner with brands who want to help you do something good.

Select the button in the top righthand corner and a drop down menu will appear. Click on settings and scroll down to the box labeled ‘Bio.’ Tell us about yourself and then press the update button. Your bio should appear on your profile next to your photo.
How do I change my profile picture?
Select the button in the top righthand corner and a drop down menu will appear. Click on settings. From there, click on the grey ‘Upload Image’ button and select a photo from your computer that you would like to use for your profile. Save your changes.
How do I add other social media accounts to my profile?
You can add links to your blog, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts to your profile. Simply click on the button in the top right corner and select settings from the drop down menu. Enter your information in the same format as the example text and save, and the appropriate icon will appear on your profile page.
What is a Life List goal and how do I create one?
A Life List goal can be anything you’d like to accomplish.
To add a goal to your list, visit your profile page and select the tab labeled ‘goals.’ Enter your goal into the box and then select a category from the drop down menu. Here you’ll find categories such as food, travel, finance, and style. Next up? Adding tags.
Under the box where you enter your goal is a box to enter tags. These will help others with a similar goal to find you. Want to take a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge? Excellent. Tag it Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, and anything else you think is relevant.
If you’d like to add a photo to your goal to create a virtual inspiration board, click the ‘upload image’ button next to your goal. (This is an optional step, so no pressure.) To credit the source of your photo, enter the photographer’s name and a link to the source in the box to the right of the upload image button.
Now decide whether you’d like your goal to be public or private. All goals will appear publicly unless you select ‘private’ from the drop down menu next to the ‘add’ button. When you’re ready, press add, and your goal should appear on your list.
What is a story and how do I create one?
As you make progress on your goals, you can post a story to let everyone know what you’ve accomplished. Maybe you want to host a dinner party once a month for a year, or set foot in all 50 states. Tell us about January’s get together. Share a few words and snapshots from your road trip through Wyoming. Updating with a story will let others follow you on your journey and offer support, as well as keep you involved and invested in the steady pursuit of your goals.
To add a story, select the ‘stories’ tab on your profile or click ‘add new story’ from the drop down menu in the top righthand corner of the site. To associate your story with the correct goal, select the appropriate goal from the drop down menu that says ‘Select a goal to link this story to…’
Enter a title and tags for your story. Tags can be anything you want, and are useful in helping other Go Mighty users find your story.
Now it’s time to write. Like many blogs, the story feature lets you insert pictures, links, and even videos. When you’re finished, click publish and you’re done.
Remember, you can write more than one story about each goal.
Can I make a goal private?
Yes. Not every goal is ready for an audience. Before submitting a goal to your list, select ‘private’ from the drop down menu located under the box on your profile where you enter your goal. Private goals are labeled as such, and are only visible to you. The same is true for any story associated with a private goal.
Can I edit a goal?
Yep. Hover your mouse over the goal you’d like edit and the option will appear. Click edit and the goal will appear in the box where your goal was entered initially. Here you can make changes to the text, change the goal to public or private, and upload a new photograph for the goal. When finished, click publish to add it to your list.
Can I delete a goal?
Yep. Hover your mouse over the goal you’d like to delete, and the option will appear. Click yes when you’re asked whether you’re sure you’d like to delete the goal.
How can I connect with other users?
For now, you can follow users by clicking the Follow button on an individual’s profile page. Following a user will ensure any new goals or stories they create will appear in the activity feed on your profile page. You can also leave comments on the stories and goals of others.
Your followers and those who follow you can be viewed on your profile by selecting the Follows tab.
How can I get sponsorship for my goals?
On occasion, Go Mighty will partner with brands to offer grants for goal fulfillment.
We will be introducing a format for you to tell us what goal from your life list you would like sponsorship for so we can help to make that happen. Keep an eye out for that announcement.
