Switched to TypePad and am totally revamping the look of my blog. Nothing at all like my original idea. I realized I wanted something brighter yet simpler.
Just start writing! It’s easy to get hung up in what a blog looks like at the expense of actually writing.
I recently had to overhaul my whole blog, and it doesn’t look at all the way I’d like it to…but a friend wisely suggested that I focus on the writing first and making it pretty later, and I think he makes a pretty good point.
I totally agree with Hilary Soltz Short, it’s never perfect and you can loose precious time -I know I did- you should use to write and write and write more. remember you can tweak the looks as you go. In a few months nobody will remember how it looked at the beginning, not even you. But if you don’t write, your blog will still be a newborn…

Do it, Stephanie! It’s really a fun thing and gosh it’s awesome to record things going on in your life. And it’s great practice writing also.
