I’ve been doing my research and there are so many cool apps out there at the moment, I should really start to use my mobile to my advantage more. App Developers are creating apps to make our lives easier, after all! Here are some amazing, innovative apps I’ve found while doing my research…
In a bid to help farmers identify problems with their crops, the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi Air Tropics, in association with Progressive Environmental & Agricultural Technologies (PEAT), a German start-up, has developed Plantix: a plant damage diagnostic app. All you has to do is to take a photo, and the app will scan its database for diseases and nutrient deficiency in the harvest! How cool is that?
The brainchild of 22-year-old Liam O’Donnell, Skiffl sets out to give users unique VIP access at some of the best bars and clubs across Liverpool. With an easy, simple-to-use interface, Skiffl can help you bypass all the irritating aspects of nights out that you would rather not have to go through, like buying tickets, queuing for hours, splitting the bill, ordering drinks and booking a table. Amazing!
Want to get summer body ready? Well, fitonomy is like an all-in-one health and fitness app, not just offering workouts, but also healthy recipes and articles to inspire and inform. But it’s the exercise that’s the focus, and the workouts within the app are almost all designed to be done at home or outdoors with minimal equipment, so you don’t need to go to the gym. For free you can pick from a handful of basic workout courses, which give you a guided workout each day. (I’m tired already!)
