The best way to frustrate a spatially challenged person?
Show her an app that demos how to tie knots.
Watching an animated rope effortlessly snake around itself is not helpful. Staring more intensely at the animated rope on screen does not help. Knot-making, for me, is a completely tactile experience: eyes to hands to brain. Or is it eye to brain to hand? Maybe this overwrought thinking is the source of my knot-learning problem.
Either way – my next stop: a hardware store that sells rope.
