So Collin’s my youngest, and, when he was in eighth grade, he ordered online some bioluminescing dinoflagellates, which, I thought, was probably the most improbable use of the Web I had heard of at the time.
Anyhoo, we came to love the little buggers. They were put on various timers for lighting and we found that they responded to their native time zone (Puerto Rico) the strongest.
And, we know how to captain and sail, and there’s an island off Puerto Rico where the bioluminescence is simply astounding.
We want to rent a Cat from Moorings, on the island of Tortola, and go seek the bioluminescence. When you disturb the organisms, they glow the most beautiful blue.
And Collin can give us a lecture!
