I might have a bit of a paper problem, which is ironic since I’m a digital editor. But currently, I have two boxes and a drawer filled with stationery in my office and at least two boxes at home as well. This is what drives my desire to learn calligraphy. That and the fact that I make 50+ holiday cards by hand every year, and I would love to make them look a little bit more special than they already do.
I’m trying to organize a private class with a bunch of my friends. It will happen, it’s just all about logistics now.
I’m crazy for stationery, too! This is a great goal. A skill like this will last a lifetime. I hope you post pics of your class and your cards. I’d love to see them.

I have all these same problems. Including the handmade holiday cards, which is insane. There’s a woman in Berkeley whose class everyone raves about, and I need to sign it up. Let’s send each other little practice scraps.
Maggie, we will definitely send each other practice scraps!
